HeadaTerm 2 is a clinically proven, safe, and effective medical device worn on users’ foreheads that uses none-invasive neuronal electrical stimulation technology to prevent and treat primary headache, including migraine, tension headache, cluster headache.
Please use USB-C charging cable to a 5V 1A adapter or computer USB port to charge the device.
* In charging mode, the charging indicator light pulses, and it remains steady when fully charged.
Clean the forehead, then dry it before using the device.
This will help the electrode attach to the forehead securely.
Peel off the plastic protective layer on the back of the gel side of the electrode.
With the gel side down, using a mirror for guidance, paste the electrode one finger width above the eyebrows.
The main unit magnetically attaches to the electrode.
Securing the Device
Secure the HeadaTerm device on your forehead using the fixing strap provided to ensure stable and comfortable placement.
After the Session
When the session ends, switch off the device before removing it to prevent any tingling sensation from electrical stimulation.
Turn on: Press and hold the control button for 2 seconds while the device is turned off.
Single click the control button for 1 gear increase.
Double click the control button for 1 gear decrease.
The electrical stimulation from the HeadaTerm 2 output may feel like a slight tingling or vibration on the forehead. No significant pain should be felt when using the HeadaTerm.
HeadaTerm is FDA cleared. It is a product specifically designed to target and alleviate migraines, using a more precise eTNS(external trigeminal nerve stimulation) technology. It can only be worn on the forehead area.
The standard for both preventive treatment and acute migraine treatment is a full treatment cycle (1 hour), after which the device automatically shuts down.
1. Acute migraine treatment: Complete a 1-hour treatment session. If the migraine persists, start another 1-hour session.
2. For migraine prevention: Use for 2 hours a day. Long-term regular use is more effective.
3. We recommend no more than 5 hours of cumulative use of the equipment per day.
The maximum usage of the electrode is 20 times. We also suggest you to replace it in the following situations:
1.The electrode cannot adhere completely to the forehead.
2.The electrode surface is dirty.
HeadaTerm2 Electrodes composed of conductive materials (protective film, conductive film, connector, hydrogel conductive layer) and leather.
After using HeadaTerm for a period of time, users will generally have a higher acceptance of the electrical stimulation. The key factors for the product to take effect lie in the perception of the electrical stimulation and proper wearing; the selection of the intensity needs to be adjusted according to the environment and the user's actual feelings, rather than being a fixed value.
It is normal to feel like a slight tingling or vibration on the forehead. However, HeadaTerm2 will not cause significant pain. Please check:
1. Make sure the electrode pad contact with the skin on the forehead without any warping. After the electrode is attached to the forehead, smoothed by hand before the device open up.
2. Remove device from the head after the device has been powered off. If air gets into the electrode pads, it will cause the current to be uneven which give a strong strike to your head.
